I'm no longer homeless and no longer disconnected from the rest of the world!!

Its quite unnerving in this modern age to be with TV or Internet for an extended period of time. I know, I'm lucky that I have a nice home to live in and access to satellite TV and the Internet, but to suddenly be without is a bit isolating. At my lowest point, I sat outside a closed Starbucks with my laptop so that I could check email with my HotSpot account.

There's still lots of boxes to unpack and lots of stuff to write about. But, for now, it just feels good to know that I am connected once again!

I totally know what you are talking about! Everytime we have moved there has been a period where I'm waiting for cable and internet to be sat up. One time I was so depressed by not having either tv or the net that I spent money to stay one of those extended stay hotels. We move into the new condo at the end of this month and I'm so thankful that you mentioned this on your blog! My first task tomorrow morning is to go ahead and set up installation for cable and the internet! I'm glad you are back! LOL.....my lowest time was when I sat outside a Wendy's (who knew they provide free wifi) to check my email and blog :)

Happy to help! I had no idea that Wendy's had free wi-fi. I can stop paying for that Hot Spot account, then :-)
